MORE THAN JUST A CAMP
NYC Kids Camps is a super fun day camp in New York City for kids. We're located at 136 West 10th Street in the heart of the West Village. We've been doing this for 23 years now! Our camp is super easy to get to, right by the West 4th/6th Ave. station and 7th Ave. Christopher St. Stn.
Our summer camp runs from June 17th to August 23rd, and we have activities like soccer, field trips, theater, art, and science. This summer, our littlest campers will have both indoor and outdoor adventures exploring nature through art and science projects.
We have our Lower Camp for kids aged Toddler to 5 years old, and also an Upper Camp for kids aged 6 to 10 years old. Applications for our 2024 summer camp are open now!
Our Activities
Nature
This summer, we're exploring nature in the city! Kids will explore and learn about different nature topics while having lots fo fun. Every two weeks, we'll dive into a new theme with exciting activities.
Think Tank
Introducing 'Think Tank' - a special learning program for young children, created and tested by Dawn Lesley Stewart over 20+ years. This in person program teaches reading, math, and more to even the youngest children to keep your happy camper learning in the summer months.
In 'Think Tank,' we focus on each child's needs in small groups, meeting three times a week with weekly lesson plans. With a simple daily routine and lots of love, your child will love learning with us. Join us and become a part of our #tankers family!
To enroll your child in Think Tank, it's just an extra $30.
Accompanied by our experienced teachers, Upper Campers (6-12) get to explore art museums, park activities, and local attractions in the West Village, Battery Park, and Chelsea.
Science Projects
Fun and educational science projects are always happening at NYC Kids Camps. Along with our art projects, we will be introducing a new theme every two weeks to go along with our nature filled summer.
Broadway Kids Camps
Campers in this program get to create props, sets, wear costumes, and participate in popular Broadway Musicals. Full day campers participate in this program daily with a performance on Friday afternoons at 3:30pm
